We run ceramic workshops in different venues around Brisbane and surrounds. We also provide group and corporate private workshops. Just email us for a brochure. Ceramic workshops are an ideal way to get friends, family or workmates together to enjoy a few laughs while creating your own ceramic pieces and relaxing in your own home, our studio or venue of your choice.
Private workshop costs vary depending on number of people and venue choice, as a starting guide “Introduction to Clay” a minimum two hour workshop costs $179.00 per participant. Please email me to discuss pricing for other workshops or to tailor one for your group. Workshop is inclusive of all materials and firing, minimum of 4 participants, workshop group to all make the same pieces.
During the group workshops we will run through some simple pottery hand building techniques to create original ceramic pieces of your very own. All workshop lessons are an ideal introduction to clay work, suitable for beginners, unless specified otherwise.
All tools, clay and materials for decorating and firing are supplied within group workshops. After our workshop day, your pieces will be dried and bisque fired, then glazed with glazes as specified for your workshop & fired again. Pieces can be picked up in studio once firing is complete. There will be an approximate 3-4 week turnaround for the firing process.
